Stephen R. LeGrand, age 68, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 07, 2023 at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. He was born on February 16, 1955 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Philip Ray and Pauline (Eggebrecht) LeGrand. He married the love of his life, Robin L. Haney, on May 24, 1975, and she preceded him in death on September 01, 2015.
Steve was a long-time employee of the Lawrenceville Package Liquor Store. He enjoyed watching old movies, hiking, running, history, and being a grandfather.
Preceding him in death were his parents and wife.
Survivors include two children, Katie Kiser and husband, Roger II of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Charles ‘Chaz’ LeGrand and wife, Dayna of Champaign, Illinois; three brothers, Fred LeGrand and wife, DeSarae of Blaine, Minnesota, Jim LeGrand and wife, Linda of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Tom LeGrand and wife, Leslie of Galveston, Texas; and two grandchildren, Daniel Kiser and Aiden Kiser.
Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 11:00 AM CDT at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
