Stephen W. Dohoney

Stephen W. Dohoney, 34, of rural Lawrenceville, IL passed away Friday August 28, 2009 in Henderson, KY.He was born August 12, 1975 in Louisville, KY the son of Daniel Dohoney of Greenville, IN and Maudie (Logsdon) Dohoney of New Albany, IN. On October 9, 2004 he married Tamara Shaffer. She survives.Along with his wife, he is survived by a son: Rylee William Dohoney of rural Lawrenceville, IL, a daughter: Kenlee Elizabeth Dohoney of rural Lawrenceville, IL, paternal grandmother: Dorothy Dohoney of Bradford, IN, a sister: Melissa Miller of Goergetown, KY, and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: William Dohoney, his maternal grandparents, and a brother.Steve was an Electrician and a Crane Tech. He worked for Kone Cranes located in Evansville, IN. He was also part owner of S & s Entertainment. He attended the Pinkstaff United Methodist Church.The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Derr Cemetery east of Pinkstaff, IL. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be given to the Rylee and Kenlee Trust Fund. Envelpoes are available at the funeral home.
