Sharon Wagner, 70, of Kalamazoo, Michigan passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Community Living Options in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was born on October 15, 1946 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Irvin Paddick and Nellie (Judy) Paddick.
Sharon was a graduate of Bridgeport Township High School and attended Eastern Illinois University. She worked as a secretary at Golden Rule and at the Embassy while in Frankfurt, Germany.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Chad Wagner; and one sister, Brunelda Thompson.
Survivors include her sister, Georgia Carie and husband, Dick, of Vincennes, Indiana; brother-in-law, Mark Thompson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Waggoner West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sharon's memory may be made to the Chauncey Community Center or the Chauncey-Landes United Methodist Church.
