Sharon J. Bell, 73, of Sumner, Illinois passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born October 10, 1943 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Leon and Helen (Weaver) Motor. She married Charles W. Bell, Sr. on October 9, 1966 and he survives.
Sharon worked at Subway and was an Avon dealer. She enjoyed being at the dirt tracks with her family. She especially loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were parents and one grandson, Timothy Bell.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; one son, Charles W. Bell, Jr. and wife, Jeanie, of Fairfield, Illinois; two daughters, Sherri Bailey and husband, James, of Robinson, Illinois and Terri Lingafelter and husband, Greg, of Yale, Illinois; two sisters, Sandra Rodrick of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Debra Walls and husband, Gerald, of Sumner, Illinois; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, Illinois. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sharon's name may be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
