Shari L. Calvert

Shari L. Calvert, age 63, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence. She was born on April 26, 1958 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Harold and Nancy (Tewell) Deisher. She married Edwin ‘Joe’ Calvert on December 23, 1976, and he survives.

Shari was a homemaker and a member of the Bridgeport Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, going to the beach, collecting Goofy’s, attending church, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her mother.

Survivors include her husband, Joe; two children, Sara Caughran and husband, Eric of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Adam Calvert and wife, Darlene of Madisonville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ashlynne Caughran, Rylee Caughran, Braxton Calvert, and Nathan Calvert; father, Harold Deisher of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and four sisters, Teresea LaMarche and husband, David of Lawrenceville, Illinois, Christina Satterthwaite and husband, Danny of Allen, Texas, Cena Smith and companion, David Adams of Monroe City, Indiana, and Andrea Deisher and companion, Kip Metheny of Lawrenceville, Illinois.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 04, 2021 at 11:00 AM CST at the Bridgeport Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
