Sally Fleetwood

Sally Fleetwood, 76, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on July 2, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN with her family by her side. She was born December 21, 1939 in Billett, Illinois the daughter of John, Jr. and Eva Belle (Lockman) Payne. Sally worked at Gray's Tavern for seven years as well as Golden Rule for 13 years. Preceding Sally in death were her parents; one son, Kevin Garner; four brothers, Jackie Payne, Bill Payne, Gene Payne, Bob Payne; and five sisters, Peggy Vogel, Maxine Wright, Blanche Roberts, Mary Alice Payne, Betty Tredway. Survivors include her sons, Bob Garner of Vincennes, Indiana, Darin Garner and his wife Shari of Dallas, Georgia, and Kris Garner and his wife Julianne of St. Charles, Missouri; daughter, Whisper Shick and her husband Matt of Lawrenceville, Illinois; sister, Suzanne Ryan of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and nine grandchildren, Kody Shick, Kady Shick, Sawyer Shick, Lane Robinson, Ashley Garner, Aubree Garner, Eva Garner, Morgan Gardner, and Madison Gardner. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 11:00 AM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Billett Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the family.
