Ruth Ann McClure

Ruth Ann McClure, age 85, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away at her residence on March 15, 2026. She was born October 24, 1940 in Vincennes, Indiana, the daughter of Paul Farris Fleenor and Pauline Briner.

Ruth worked as an assistant manager at Wal-Mart stores for many years. She worked at the Bedford, Vincennes, and Lawrenceville locations. Following her retirement, Ruth Ann cherished the time she spent with her family.

Preceding Ruth in death were her parents, one brother; Paul Fleenor Jr, and two sisters, Lura Lee Durham and Belva Jean Faught.

Survivors include: her children; Greg (Amy) McClure of St. Francisville, Illinois and Angie (Jeff) Sweeten of Hartford, Kentucky; one brother, Bob Fleenor of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one sister, Judy Beard of Arkansas; five grandchildren; Sierra (Chad) Wolpert, Kramer (Brooke) Sweeten, Cameron (Samantha) McClure, Eric (Maisie) McClure and Caitlin (Kevin) Weaver, as well as eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Riley's Children Hospital in Ruth's name. 

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
