Ruby N. Campbell

Ruby N. Campbell, age 84, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Friday, March 13, 2026, at her residence. She was born April 1, 1941, in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene F. Zehner and Mary Louise Fisher Zehner. She married Roy Loudermilk on August 30, 1959, and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2003. She married Percy Campbell and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2013.

Ruby was a homemaker who devoted much of her time to her family and community. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and served as a 4-H leader, encouraging and supporting young people. Ruby enjoyed listening to audiobooks and especially treasured the time she spent with her family and friends.

Preceding Ruby in death were her parents, husband Roy and husband Percy, and daughter Nancy L. Loudermilk.

Survivors include children, Mike Loudermilk of Lawrenceville, Wendy J. Smith of Chicago, Teresa Loudermilk of Effingham, Sally J. Loudermilk of Lawrenceville, Laura J. Loudermilk of South Boardman, Michigan; siblings, Robert L. (Brenda) Zehner of Rockford, Illinois, Dorothy Linder of Lawrenceville; seventeen grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
