Rose Marie Cooper

Rose Marie Cooper, age 79, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away August 13, 2011 at her residence. She was born November 16, 1931 in Lawrence County, IL the daughter of Raymond Montgomery and Sephrona Edith Kohlhouse. She was raised by Fred Tewell. Rose Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Moose. Rose Marie loved camping, mushroom hunting, fishing, Bingo and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. We will all love and miss her greatly. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Billy Montgomery and a sister Mary Montgomery; and two grandchildren Danny Collins and Michelle Collins. Survivors include two sons Darvin Leo Hager and wife Pam and David Thomas Hager and wife Tam, all of Bridgeport; two daughters Diane Collins and husband Delbert and Sherry Green and husband Richard, all of Lawrenceville; two brothers Earl "Bud" Montgomery and wife Connie of Lawrenceville and Freddie Tewell of Arkansas; three sisters Stanzie Kearby and husband Mike of Lawrenceville, Wanda Cessna of Vincennes, IN and JoAnn Pewitt of Missouri; ten grandchildren Tony Collins of Tennessee, Billy Collins and Charlie Kamuf of Kentucky, Tammy Luna and husband James of North Carolina, Chad Green and wife Heather of St. Francisville, Shontel Green, Samantha Gates and husband Larry all of Lawrenceville, Brandy Smith and husband Michael of Springfield, Kyle Hager, Blake Hager and wife Ieesha, Bradley Hager and wife Sandy all of Bridgeport; 20 great-grandchildren Alyssa Collins, Patricia Crumley, Bailey Collins, Ashton Luna, Levi Luna, Chrystian Luna, Elaina Collins, Loraina Collins, Ricky Townley, Taylor Townley, Zachary Green, Zane Green, Lane Green, Dalton Green, Jacob Couch, Brazon Couch, Brooklyn Hager, Blake Hager, Sammy Hager, and Marion Rose Hager. Rose Marie's wishes were to be cremated and a private family service will be conducted. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to local charities.
