Robert Larry Stoltz

Robert Larry Stoltz March 31, 1944 - August 3, 2011 Robert Larry Stoltz, age 67, of Sumner, IL passed away August 3, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, IN from complications of pneumonia. He was born March 31, 1944 in Sumner, IL the son of Ronald Francis and Jannetta (McNeeley) Stoltz. He married Maurena Shannon December 21, 1964. Larry retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement by working on the family farm. Larry was a Lawrence County Board member for six years. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Michael. Survivors include his wife Maurena; one son Brad and wife Cathy of Greenwood, IN; one daughter Stacy Organ and husband Mike of Sumner; one brother Stanley Stoltz of Lawrence, IN; one sister Donna Copeland of Greenfield, IL and seven grandchildren Abby Organ, Clay Organ, Madison Organ, Maizie Organ, Amanda Stoltz, Matthew Stoltz, and Michael Stoltz. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Stoltz family farm north of Sumner. Memorials may be made to the Lawrence County 4-H Fair, the Lawrence County Jr. Fair, Crawford County Humane Society or the Vincennes YMCA. Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner is in charge of the arrangements.
