Robert L. Rob ‘Pudge' Brown, 49, of Decker, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 18, 1967 in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Max Brown and Beverly (Waldrop) Baker.
Rob worked for 17 years as a Lawrence County Illinois Sheriff's Deputy; and most recently worked for Regal Construction in Vincennes, Indiana. He was an avid NASCAR fan and he enjoyed golfing and fishing with his family.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Paul and Leona Brown; maternal grandmother, Murl Fuller; and maternal grandfathers, Thomas Waldrop and Dorin Fuller.
Survivors include his father, Max Brown, and his wife, Helen, of Decker, Indiana; mother, Beverly Baker of Lawrenceville, Illinois; two sons, Robert Blake Brown and Logan Brown and fiancé McKenzie; one daughter, Kaylie Castro all of Allendale, Illinois; three brothers, Alan Brown, Marc Brown, and Jack Brown; two sisters, Sherry Peno and Tress Suits Thompson; one granddaughter, Jocelyn Brown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be Friday, October 21, 2016 at 5:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Rob's memory may be made to Lawrence County Shop with a Cop or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
