Robert W. Lyden, Sr., 62, of Hardinsburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born September 19, 1954 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the son of Charles P. and Wanda (Gibbs) Lyden.
Robert was a truck driver for Tussey Trucking for many years and for Cruse Trucking for two years. He was a member of the Elks.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son, Robert Lyden, Jr.
Survivors include his significant other, Sharon Henderson-Bennett; one daughter, Angela Nakajima and husband, Tomoyuki, of Texas; one brother, Charles Wain Lyden of Fulton, Missouri; one sister, Laura Starnes of North Carolina; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
