Robert C Laird

Robert C. Laird, age 79, of rural Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015, at his residence. He was born December 6, 1935, the son of Marion Chester and Emma Ethel (Patrick) Laird. Robert was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Lawrenceville National Guard and Lawrence County Farm Bureau. Robert's parents preceded him in death. Survivors include three cousins, Mike Patrick of Sumner, Gail Patrick of rural Lawrenceville, and Frances Williams of Mulberry, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
