Drew Robert Goins, 23, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Wednesday July 8, 2015. He was born October 02, 1991 In Vincennes, IN the son of Russell Goins Jr. and Brandy (Potts) Ruggles. Drew worked at Bobe's Pizza in Lawrenceville for seven years. He was affiliated with the Free Methodist Church in St. Francisville, IL. He had attended Wabash Valley College. He enjoyed playing and watching basketball. He spent many hours listening to music and spending time with friends. Surviving are his father: Russell Goins Jr. and his wife Elaine of Lawrenceville, IL, mother: Brandy Ruggles and her husband Derek of Vincennes, IN, Paternal Grandparents: Russell and Alvyna Goins of Lawrenceville, IL, maternal Grandparents: Lowell and Gayle Potts of St. Francisville, IL, a brother: Remington Ruggles of Vincennes, IN, two sisters: Breonica Ruggles of Vincennes, IN, Jessi Bowler of Lawrenceville, IL, and two aunts: Ginger Shepherd of Plainville, IN, and Stephanie Goins of Lake Villa, IL. The funeral will be Monday at 10:30am CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL. Visitation is Sunday from 3:00 until 7:00pm CST. Burial will be at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Lawrenceville City Park where Drew enjoyed many hours playing basketball with his friends.
