Robert R. Crews

Robert R. Crews, 51, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Friday April 13, 2012 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lawrenceville, IL December 31, 1960 the son of Walter "Bud" and Mildred Jean (Johnson) Crews. On February 22, 1980 he married Karen Tate. She survives. Robert worked at Gwaltney Drilling in Washington, IN as a Spudder Operator since 1996. Along with his wife Karen, he is survived by a daughter: Peggy and her husband Jonathan Bowman of Sullivan, IN, a son: Robert W. and his wife Brenna Crews of Lawrenceville, IL, a sister: Judy Swing of Frankfort, IL, and 3 grandchildren. Along with his parents, a sister is deceased. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00pmCST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Private Graveside services will be conducted at Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
