Robert W. 'Bob' Lancaster

Biography Robert Wayne "Bob" Lancaster, age 74, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. He was born December 9, 1940, in Sumner, IL the son of Gilvie F. and Edna Dora (Murray) Lancaster. He married Lee Juana Fiscus on December 9, 1965. She survives. Bob was owner/operator of his own truck and drove for Atlas Van Lines for 43 years. Bob touched many lives all over the United States. He attended Congregational Christian Church in Sumner. Preceding Bob in death were his parents, one brother Charles Lancaster, and three sisters Evelyn Kelley, Mary Heath and Lois Lancaster. Survivors include his wife Lee Juana of Bridgeport, one son William James Lancaster of Lawrenceville; four daughters Jonni Sue (Randy) Stephens of Sumner, Lee Ann (Dan) Hellums all of Bridgeport, Connie Sue (Jeff) Jordan of Crawfordsville, IN and Bonnie Lou (Quentin) Hall of Spring Hill, TN; four brothers Delbert Lancaster of Chauncey, IL, Gary Lancaster of Pensacola, FL, Roy Lancaster of Sumner, and Donnie Lancaster of Sumner, 13 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
