Rick Haines

Rick Haines, 62, of Sumner, IL, passed away Thursday November 11, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 5, 1949 in Vincennes, IN the son of Murphy Monk Haines and Genevieve Bea (Fiscus) Haines. On March 26, 1983 he married Helen Franz. She survives.Rick had worked for the City of Sumner for 14 years. He was a member of the Sumner United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Osmon Fox Hunters Assn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children. Along with his wife, he is survived by 2 sons: Jacob Cody (wife Shannon) Haines of Carbondale, IL, Eric Haines of Sumner, Il, a daughter: Amy Lee Haines of Daytona, FL, 2 brothers: James Bonewits of Agnes, AR, Jack Bonewits of Horseshoe Bend, AR, a sister: Nancy Wells of Lawrenceville, IL, and 2 grandchildren. His parents and a sister preceded him in death.The funeral will be Saturday at 11:00am at the Sivert-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Sumner, IL with burial to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be given to Good Samaritan Hospice.
