Richard T. Plowman, 50, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Sunday February 7, 2010 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital.He was born August 4, 1959 in Detroit, MI the son of Johnny Lee Plowman and Luella (Coy) Plowman.Richard had worked as a chef at Ernieâs in Pekin, IL. He served in the US Air Force. He was a past member of the American Legion.He is survived by his mother Luella Plowman and step-father Michael Dozard of Lawrenceville, IL, 2 sons: Iain Taylor Stevenson of Fayetteville, NC, Quanah Jade Plowman of Waterloo, IN, 4 brothers: John Lee Plowman of Lawrenceville, IL, Steven Plowman of Lawrenceville, IL, Terry Plowman of Flora, IL, Joseph Plowman of Flora, IL, 2 sisters: Shirley Plowman of Lawrenceville, IL, and Paula Kestner of Lawrenceville, IL. His father, and a brother James David Plowman are deceased.The body is being cremated. Burial will take place at Lawrenceville City Cemetery at a later date.
