Richard Jacoby

Biography Richard Jacoby, Sr., age 81 of rural Lawrenceville, IL passed away Monday, November 12, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born August 31, 1931, in Hartford, IL, the son of Neal Frederick and Kathleen (Chamberlain) Jacoby. He married Bonnie Ester Seed. Richard owned and operated his own trucking business since 1979. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines, having served during the Korean War. Preceding Richard in death were his parents and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, of Lawrenceville, one son Richard (Angie) Jacoby of Evansville, IN, one granddaughter; Brandi(Dustin)Deisher and one great-grandson; Leland Scott Deisher. Graveside services Friday at 2:00 PM at Lawrenceville City Cemetery with military rites. There is no visitation. Memorials may be made to Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
