Regina K. Rudd

Regina K. Rudd, age 55, of Olney, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, July 06, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 01, 1969 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the daughter of Guy ‘Bill’ W. and Delores F. (Outler) Higgins. She married Eric W. Rudd on September 20, 2014, and he preceded her in death on October 01, 2014.

Regina worked in home health care for 32 years. She was a member of the Bee Branch Church. She enjoyed shopping, listening to music, and watching movies with her granddaughter, Deanna.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband.

Survivors include two children, Tara Skipworth and husband, Nathan and Troy Deaton and wife, Elizabeth all of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one brother, Chris Hall of South Carolina; and eight grandchildren, Deanna Leffler, Donnetta Rose, Paige Deaton, Carson Deaton, Zoey Deaton, Tyler Deaton, Cory Rule, and Erich Deaton.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Paws & Claws Animal Rescue Center.
