Raymond L. Grove

Raymond L. Grove, age 80, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. He was born on May 06, 1939 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Wilbur Grove and Martha (Bennett) Henry. He married Barbara Paddick on June 07, 1969 and she survives.

Raymond was a member and worked through the Carpenter-Millwright Local 222 and Local 1080. He also worked for Groff Equipment and Auction Company for several years.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Billy Grove and James Henry.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; one daughter, Traci Leech of Vincennes, Indiana; and two grandchildren, Gavin and Evan Leech.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the May Chapel Cemetery, east of Lawrenceville, Illinois. There is no public visitation. Memorial donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to the Good Samaritan Hospice. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
