Precious Maxine Phillippe

Biography Precious Maxine McFarland Chamblin Phillippe, age 92 of Attala, AL, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Mrs. Phillippe loved to visit her friends at Pruett's BBQ in Alabama, still loved going to the beauty shop and watching politics on the news. She loved being with her sons and daughter, talking and laughing. She was proud to be Irish and loved to celebrate that day. She will be missed. "Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you" Survivors include one daughter, Barbara McCollum (Sam) of Asheville, NC; two sons Bruce Chamblin (Faye) of Destin, FL and David Phillippe (Sherry) of Reece City, AL; three step-children John, Steve, and Judy Phillippe; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday, Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.
