Pauline V. Thompson

 Pauline V. Thompson, 78, of Lawrenceville passed away Wednesday November 18, 2009 at Lawrence County  memorial Hospital.She was born November 17, 1931 in Burnt Prairie, IL the daughter of Edward Elmer and Anna Adeline (Briley) Brent.. She was married to Noble "Bud" Thompson. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1995.She is survived by 3 sons: Noble "Sonny" Thompson III of Coeur D' Alene, ID, Tracy Lee "Pete" Thompson of Ozark, MO, Bryan Keith Thompson of Lawrenceville, IL, 7 daughters: Pam Kiser of Lawrenceville, IL, Christina Cooper of Lawrenceville, IL, Rhonda Harvey of Bridgeport, IL, Barbara Thompsonj of Columbus, IN, Anita Tidwell of Bartlesville, OK, Mearly Thompson of Lawrenceville, IL, Hellena "Katie" McAlmore of Nowata, OK, 2 brothers: Ivan Brent of Carmi, IL, William Brent of Washington, sister: Velma Jean Newman of North Little Rock, AR, 33 grandchildren, and 53 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers, six sisters and a grandchild are deceased.Pauline was a CNA at the United Methodist Village and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Wesleyan Christian Church on 6th Street in Lawrenceville, IL.A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00am Saturday at Trinity Power of Pentecost at 910 Collins in Lawrenceville. There is no visitation. Burial of her ashes will be at the Spraggins Cemetery in Velpen, IN.Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
