Pauline Mae Hutchings, age 95, of Decatur, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at the St Mary's Hospital in Decatur, Illinois. She was born April 19, 1921 in Lukin Township, Illinois the daughter of Hal and Hannah (Gross) Snyder. She married Sylvan Hutchings on May 27, 1939 and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1971.
Pauline was a retired CNA.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, two sons: Theron and Jimmie, and one daughter: Wanda Higgins.
Survivors include one son: David Hutchings and wife, Leanne, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; two daughters: Sharon Shreve of Vincennes, Indiana and Donna Bowrey and husband, Terry, of Decatur, Illinois; one sister: Helen Thomas of Claremont, Illinois; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be Wednesday 2:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
