Paula J. Blocher

Paula J. Blocher, age 81, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Haven of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Illinois. She was born February 6, 1945, the daughter of Howard and Austia Fye DeLap.

Paula worked as a typist for the Daily Record and later for Golden Rule. She was a member of the Moose and the VFW Auxiliary. Paula enjoyed watching Disney and Hallmark movies and found great joy in collecting pictures of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her children and their families.

Preceding Paula in death were her parents; brother, Rollin DeLap; sister, Tonya Miller.

Survivors include; children, Todd (Tracy) Blocher of Lawrenceville, Lance (Shannon) Blocher of Great Falls, Montana; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Blocher, Kaci Fiscus, Patrick Blocher, Chelsea Wyatt, Jonathon Blocher, Christina Wyatt; eight great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Beverly DeLap of Franklin, Tennessee.

No formal services will be conducted at this time. Arrangements will be announced at a later date.
