Paul G. Brown , 74, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday February 5, 2009 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.He was born September 29, 1934 in Lawrence County, IL the son of Paul and Leona (Cornwell) Brown. Mrs. Brown survives and lives in Vincennes, IN. He married Arletta West on November 22, 1953. She precedes him in death.Surviving along with his mother are a son: Billy Joe and wife Sue Brown of Avon, IN, a daughter: Paula and husband Phil Faught of Indianapolis, IN, 3 brothers: Neil Brown of Mitchell, IN, Max Brown of Vincennes, IN, Terry (Mike) Brown of Vincennes, IN, 2 sisters: Janice Sue Campbell of Vincennes, IN, Linda Kay Carr of Charleston, IL, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren..Paul worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN. He also owned Brown's Pet Shop in Lawrenceville and Olney, IL. He is a US Navy Veteran having served in Korea. He is a member of the Church of God Prophecy in Lawrenceville and the Harvestime Church in Indianapolis, IN.The funeral will be Monday February 9, 2009 at 1:30pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Claremont, IL. Visitation is Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
