Patty June Yoho, age 88, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away October 8, 2013, at United Methodist Village-North Campus. She was born June 29, 1925 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Virgil and Eva Marie (Sanders) Berry. She married Ray Yoho of April 22, 1944, and he died April 28, 2000. Patty was employed outside the home for many years, but was always a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the Homespun Quilters Club in Mt. Carmel, and enjoyed playing cards with her card club. She was a volunteer at the Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was always a supporter of their achievements. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother, D. Berry. Survivors include two daughters, Dea Weger of rural Bridgeport and Janet Thomas of Lawrenceville; one brother Lilburn "L.D." Berry of Lawrenceville; a twin sister Peggy Pruitt of Lawrenceville; four grandchildren Shelley Seib of Evansville, Indiana, Jody Andriano of Bourbonnais, Illinois, Joshua Weger of Springfield, Illinois, and Jonathan Thomas of Fishers, Indiana, along with seven great-grandchildren Evan Ziebell, Jacob Ziebell, Riley Andriano, Cami Andriano, Jackson Thomas, Mac Thomas, and Abby Lincks. Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
