Patricia Polston Jones, age 92, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born on December 28, 1926 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Clinton Rosevelt and Mary Olivia (Snyder) Polston. She married James T. Jones on October 20, 1945 and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2002.
Patricia worked at Central Industries and was also a waitress. She was a member of the Central Christian Church. She was a good homemaker and enjoyed being on the move, going to events, and spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James; and one brother, Neilan Keith Polston.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy ‘Dottie' Hurt of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Marianne Loveman of Lawrenceville, Illinois; five grandchildren, Tara, Brad, Jami, Chris, and Mike; and 11 great-grandchildren, Faolin, Charlotte, Avery, Lilith, Samantha, Dylan, Christopher, Jesse, Hailey, Tiffany, and Robert.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
