Orlene Reese

Orlene Reese, age 69, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on November 17, 1951 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Orla and Eula (Stanley) Griffith. She married Harvey E. Reese on June 18, 1972, and he preceded her in death on January 03, 2013.

Orlene worked in the dietary department at the United Methodist Village. Her hobbies included reading, doing puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; two brothers, Jerry Griffith and Jerald Griffith; and one sister, Judy Millspaugh.

Survivors include two sons, Ed Reese and wife, Wendy of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Sam Reese and significant other, Dottie Rambaud of Vincennes, Indiana; one brother, Andy Griffith and wife, Trudy of Lawrenceville, Illinois; three sisters, Nancy Travillian of Kentucky, Janie Peters of Paris, Illinois, and Machelle Peters of Paris, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Mason and Maggie.

Private graveside services will be conducted. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrence County Senior Citizens. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
