Oliver Woodrow Sanders

Oliver W. Sanders, age 71, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. Born January 12, 1941 in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of Oscar E. and Audie M. (Rose) Sanders. He married Ida M. Cutsinger March 17, 1959 and she survives. Oliver was a retired Navy veteran where he was an aviation electrician for 27 years. He worked at the United Methodist Village for 20 years as an electrician. He was a former member of the Moose. Oliver was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Ida, of Lawrenceville; two sons Woodrow E. Sanders and Ray Sanders, both of Lawrenceville; one daughter Cindy Sanders of Lawrenceville; one sister Mildred McBride of German Valley, IL; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the family through the funeral home.
