Noble Jennings Divine

Noble Jennings "Andy" Divine Jr, 76, of Quincy, IL (formerly of Lawrenceville) passed away Monday February 11, 2013 at the Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy, IL. He was born March 4, 1936 in Loogootee, IN the son of Noble Jennings and Dorothy Irene (Weger) Divine. Andy retired from the Air Force where he served as a Military Policeman. He served in World War II. He then worked for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the Forty & Eight in Vincennes, IN, the American Legion in Flat Rock, IL, and the AMVETS in Palestine, IL. He is survived by a son: Chris and his wife Heidi Divine of Washington, IN, two brothers: Richard Norman Divine of Loogootee, IN, Steven Charles Divine of Las Vegas, NV, three sisters: Sharon Sue Hoke of Lawrenceville, IL, Mary Ann Kent of Birds, IL, Judith Lynn Kennedy of Bloomfield, IN, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
