Myrtle B. Snively

Myrtle B. Snively, 96, of Prestonburg, KY passed away Monday June 2, 2014 at Riverview Healthcare in Prestonburg, KY. She was born November 29, 1917, in Owensville, IN, the daughter of Edgar and Addie B. (Powers) Frazier. On May 21, 1937 she married Harold Snively. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1995. Myrtle was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She is survived by two daughters: Patricia Hackworth of Lawrenceville, IL, Patricia Goble of Prestonburg, KY, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Along with her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann Necessary, two brothers and one sister. The funeral will be Wednesday at 4:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Visitation is also Wednesday from 2:00pm until the service hour of 4:00pm.
