Michelle Jones-Hankins, age 34, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015, at Melvin Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born April 20, 1980, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Melvin Maxwell Jones and Darlene (Parke) Jones.
Michelle worked as a CNA at the United Methodist Village and Bridgeport Nursing Home until her illness.
Survivors include her parents, Melvin and Darlene Jones of Lawrenceville; one brother Christopher Jones of Lawrenceville and two sisters, Melanie Dawn Jones of Lawrenceville, and Melissa A. Bowles of Georgetown, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service hour of 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
