Michael Earnest Frederick

Michael Earnest Frederick, age 77, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 25, 1948 in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Marion Frederick and Elizabeth Gognat Frederick. He married Linda Daugherty on May 7, 1972, and she survives.

Michael proudly served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he was employed as a biomedical technician at Good Samaritan Hospital, where he worked on computers, monitoring equipment, and other medical electronics. Michael was a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Vincennes. He had a strong interest in electronics and enjoyed working puzzles. A sports enthusiast, Michael was a devoted Indianapolis Colts fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, swimming, and working on vehicles.

Preceding Michael in death were his parents and a brother, William Frederick.

Survivors include: his wife, Linda; children, Michelle Frederick of Lawrenceville and Jeff (Kelsey) Frederick of rural Flat Rock, Illinois; brother, Francis “Buddy” (Vicki) Frederick of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Mary Kay (Bruce) Litherland of Vincennes, Indiana and Janice (Jim) Keneipp of Vincennes, Indiana; grandchildren, Dakota Goodwin, Kelsey Bilohlavek, Emma Frederick; great-grandchildren, Jayce, Jack, Juniper, and Rowan; several nieces and nephews.
