Michael J. Blagrave

Michael J. Blagrave, age 54, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1970 in Rantoul, Illinois, the son of Jeffery and Cathy (Compton) Blagrave. He married Lisa Delarosa on August 10, 2024, and she passed away on December 31, 2024.

Mike served his country in the Illinois National Guard and the United States Army. He worked as a truck driver for Jones & Sons for 25 plus years. His hobbies included spending time outside, fishing, working on vehicles, as well as taking bicycle and side by side rides.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Eric Blagrave.

Survivors include three children, Braxton Blagrave, Brogan Blagrave, and Brycen Blagrave all of Lawrenceville, Illinois.

A visitation will be on Wednesday, January 08, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Graveside services will be conducted immediately following the visitation in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana, with military rites. Memorial donations may be made to the Lawrenceville VFW.
