Melisa L. Laslie, age 45, of Bridgeport, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born on October 20, 1976 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of John J. and Jennifer (Brochin) Laslie.
Melisa worked in medical records at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, Subway in Lawrenceville, and JCPenney in Vincennes. She enjoyed listening to music, shopping, doing art, going to theme parks, going out to eat, and spending time with her friends and family.
Preceding her in death was her father, John Laslie; one brother, Jonathan Laslie; and one son, Clifton Pinkstaff.
Survivors include her daughter, Zoey Bree Laslie of Vincennes, Indiana; mother, Jennifer Laslie and significant other, James Reeves of Lawrenceville, Illinois; and significant other, Tony Heath of Bridgeport, Illinois.
There will be no formal services conducted. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
