Mary Kathryn Tucker

Mary Kathryn Tucker, age 80, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Indiana. She was born on March 08, 1943 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Leo Thomas and Mary (Martin) Fulton. She married James Tucker on May 15, 1970, and he preceded her in death on April 13, 2006.

Mary worked at the United Methodist Village and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lawrenceville Free Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one son, Brian Eugene Tucker; one sister, Bertha Ann Skelton; and one brother, Bobby Lee Fulton.

Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth ‘Sue’ Cunningham of Olney, Illinois, Connie Wells and husband, Ronnie of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Tina Moore and husband, Craig of Sumner, Illinois; two half-brothers, Thomas Fulton and Billy Fulton both of Shelbyville, Illinois; one brother-in-law, Mike Tucker of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four grandchildren, Chris Tucker, Melissa Mobley, Jesse Wells and wife, Jessica, and Brittany Black; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 01, 2024 at 11:00 AM CST at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM CST at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
