Mary

Mary Ottellia Fry, age 94, of Lawrenceville, IL, passed away Wednesday, February 06, 2013 at Burgin Manor in Olney. She was born September 4, 1918 in Morganfield, KY, the daughter of James H. and Ottellia Caroline (Francis) Shoemaker. She married Roscoe Snider who passed away October 31, 1957. She married her second husband, Hugh Ernest Fry, on August 26, 1961, and he passed away on February 9, 1998. Mary was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church and served as President of the Altar Society. Preceding Mary in death were her parents, three brothers, one sister, two sons Michael Wayne and Robert Lee Snider, one son-in-law and two granddaughters. Survivors include one son, Ron Snider and wife Brenda of Noble, IL; one daughter Carol Ann Higdon of Kermit, TX; two step-sons Ron Fry and wife Janise of Godfrey, IL, and Jay Fry and wife Joyce of Vancouver WA. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
