Mary Alice Lambert

Mary Alice Lambert, age 82, of Bridgeport, passed away March 3, 2014. She was born October 22, 1931, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, the daughter of Emil William Beelman and Thelma (Milling) Beelman. Mary graduated from Webster Grove High School in Missouri in 1949. After graduation she worked at the Pentagon in Virginia, outside Washington, D.C., as a secretary. She attended and graduated from William Woods College in 1953. Mary worked for several companies as a secretary until she married Robert Dill. Together they built a successful floral business in Belleville, Illinois. They had a daughter, Lisa. After a divorce, she married Jack Lambert. He subsequently died of cancer. Mary loved music and was an accomplished pianist. Mary has received excellent care at the Lawrence Community Health Care Center in Bridgeport for a number of years. Their care has been most appreciated. Survivors include her brother, Robert Beelman of Surprise, Arizona, a daughter, Lisa Helderman of Lawrenceville, Illinois and two grandchildren. A chapel service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
