Mary M. Goff

Mary M. Goff, 100, of Flat Rock, IL passed away Thursday December 9, 2010 at the United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, IL. She was born April 19, 1910 in Bridgeport, IL the daughter of Steward Earnest and Minnie (Scott) Earnest. She was married May 18, 1931 to Gerald E. Goff. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2008.Mary worked at the United Methodist Village in Housekeeping, and had also worked at Rector Brothers Department Store. She is survived by two sons: Harley (Radelle) Goff of rural Flat Rock, IL, Sherman (Katie) Goff of rural Flat Rock, IL, a daughter: Joan Rasico of Flat Rock, IL, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren, and one son-in-law: Chuck Heatherington of Greenville, MI. A son: Jackie and his wife Barbara Goff, a daughter: Verna Hetherington, son-in-law: Robert Rasico, six brothers, four sisters, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild are deceased.The funeral will be Monday at 10:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home with burial to follow at Crest haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00pm. Memorial donations may be given to Alzheimers Association or to the American Cancer Society.
