Mary Katherine Foss, age 91, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the United Methodist Village-North Campus in Lawrenceville. She was born January 29,1921 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Willis Franklin and Mary Ann (Moore) Young. She married George Foss on July 4, 1942 and he passed away November 2, 2010.
Katherine was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons Thomas Foss and John Foss, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law Dana Foss of Vincennes; four grandchildren Todd Foss, Barrett Foss, Elizabeth (Foss) Davison and Brian Foss, as well as two great-grandchildren Cathlene Warren and FayLynn Foss.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at Emmons, Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with burial to follow in Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
