Mary Cessna, age 60, of Big Spring, Texas, formerly of both Lawrenceville and Sumner, Illinois, passed away on December 27, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on February 19, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Glenda Wilson.
Mary received her college degree at the age of 58 from Howard College in Big Spring, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; and loved to travel.
Preceding her in death was her mother.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeannette Hooper and husband, Garratt of Bicknell, Indiana; grandchildren; brothers; sisters; family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Burial will be in the Scott Cemetery.
