Martha J. Bootman

Martha Jane Bootman, age 95, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013, at United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville. She was born May 29, 1918 in Lawrenceville, the daughter of John Riley and Lula Jane (Mills) Moore. Martha worked at Paris Bakery and McKim's IGA Bakery. She was also a homemaker. Martha was a member of Wesleyan Church and in later years the First United Methodist Church. Preceding Martha in death were her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include five sons, Jack Faro (Janet) of Lawrenceville, Terry Faro (Sandy) of Cibolo, Texas, Marty Bootman (Julie) of Olive Branch, Mississippi. Charlie Bootman (Liz) of Lawrenceville and Mike Bootman of Vincennes, Indiana, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday morning 11:00 a,m at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Friends may call Saturday morning 10:00a.m till the service hour of 11:00a.m. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice.
