Marjorie Ruth Clark, 82 of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Sunday March 22, 2009 at the United Methodist Village.Born June 5, 1926 in Bridgeport, IL, she was the daughter of Clarence and Mabel Ruth (Holtsclaw) West.Marjorie was a homemaker and also worked in a factory during WWII. She was a member of the Power of Pentecost Church in Lawrenceville.She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Daniel Lannigan; second husband, Champ Clark; a daughter Sandra Harbour; one brother; five sisters and one grandchild.Survivors include two grandchildren Olivia Ruth (Harbour) Norwood of Macomb, MI and Dainna E. Harbour of Detroit, MI; two sisters June Colley of Needham, MA and Dorothy Smith of Peabody, MA; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, IL with burial to follow in the May Chapel Cemetery east of Lawrenceville.Friends may call Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service of 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the Power of Pentecost Church with envelopes available through the funeral home.
