Marilyn Wagner

Marilyn R. (McClain) Wagner, 80, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born October 26, 1933 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of James Herbert and Grace Aileen (Grundon) McClain. She married Estel D. Wagner on July 4, 1954 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2012. Marilyn worked at the United Methodist Village for 17 years. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers: Bob, Joe, Donnie and one sister Sue. Surviving are a son: David D. Wagner and wife Julia of Indianapolis, IN, two daughters: Patty Carter and husband Mike of Lawrenceville, IL Joetta Volkman and husband Ron of Evansville, IN, a sister: Judy Grove and husband Harold of Auburndale, FL, ten grandchildren: Trisha, Kristi, Cassie, Hayley, Drew, Marisa, Kelsey, Aaron, Jeremy, Mary and seven great grandchildren: Madison, Cloey, Hailey, Sydney, Allie, Ava, Jaxson. Funeral services will be Saturday 3:00 pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville,Illinois. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 p.m. till the service hour of 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in the May Chapel Cemetery
