Marilyn J Shapinsky

Biography Marilyn J. Shapinsky, 56, of Bridgeport, Illinois, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the United Methodist Village-Main Campus. She was born June 4, 1960 in Alexandria, Louisiana, the daughter of Cloyd E. and Joyce (Ferguson) Wilson. She was married to Kelly Shapinsky and he survives. Marilyn worked as a manager at Payless ShoeSource in Vincennes, Indiana for nine years and prior to that she worked for Budget Rental Car Company in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a member of Hi-Way Church of God. Preceding Marilyn in death were her father and two sisters, Victoria Joyce Wilson and Mary Jane Wilson. Survivors include her mother; her husband; her son, Austin Shane Wilson of Palestine, Illinois; her two step-sons, Kaleb Shapinsky and Anthony Eli Helderman both of Lawrenceville, Illinois; her two brothers, Cloyd W. ‘Willie' Wilson and wife Cheryl of Lawrenceville, Illinois and James L. ‘Jim' Wilson and wife Donna of Sumner, Illinois; and three step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Hi-Way Church of God. Memorial donations in Marilyn's memory may be given to funeral home for funeral expenses.
