Marilyn J. Lockhart

Marilyn J. Lockhart, 64, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away Friday, June 22, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 7, 1954 in Lawrenceville, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Mary (Sutton) Benton. She first married Harold Kennedy and he preceded her in death. After Harold's passing, she married Bill Hill and he preceded her in death. After Bill's passing, she married Eddie Lockhart and he preceded her in death. Marilyn was a homemaker. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Harold; husband, Bill; husband, Eddie; two brothers; and four sisters. Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Kennedy of Lawrenceville, Illinois and William Kennedy and wife, Penny, of Lawrenceville, Illinois; one daughter, Carla S. Kennedy of Lawrenceville, Illinois; four brothers, Billy Benton of Ocala, Florida, Wiley Benton of Petersburg, Indiana, Raymond Murphy of Vincennes, Indiana, and Ronald Benton of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 3:00 PM CST at the Shiloh Cemetery. Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois is in charge of the arrangements.
