Marianna Loveman

Marianna Loveman, age 85, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Thursday, July 07, 2022 at her daughter’s residence. She was born on November 20, 1936 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the daughter of Clinton R. and Mary O. (Snyder) Polston. She married Burton Loveman on October 24, 1953, and he preceded her in death on January 24, 2004.

Marianna worked at Sievers Meat Market and Buehler’s Buy Low. She was a member of the Central Christian Church. Her hobbies included traveling with her husband, shopping, going to the movies, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one brother, Neilan Keith Polston; and one sister, Patricia Jones.

Survivors include three children, Marc Loveman and wife, Lynn of Wheatland, Indiana, Kate Loveman of Lawrenceville, Illinois, and Melesa Loveman of Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren, Marcus Loveman, Rachel Fettig, Natalie Crowe, Clinton Loveman, and Malana Patel; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 2:00 PM CDT at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Visitation will be conducted on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 2:00 PM CDT at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lawrenceville City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
