Magdalene Melvina Beanblossom, 89, of Lawrenceville passed away Friday March 20, 2009 at the United Methodist Village.She was born January 18m 1920 in Illinois. She was the daughter of Homer Richard and Magdalena Jeanetta "Helen" (Baehr) Ryder. On June 26, 1938 she married Millard Monroe Beanblossom. He precedes her in death.She was a homemaker. She was baptized at the Free Methodist Church.She is survived by 4 sons: John William Beanblossom of Stanford, IL, Richard Arthur Beanblossom of Lawrenceville, IL, Dennis Wayne Beanblossom of Lawrenceville, IL, Thomas Lee Beanblossom of Lawrenceville, IL, 4 daughters: Rosa Lee Craig of Leslie, AR, Linda Lou Davidson of Clifton, CO, Henrietta Kay Dunlap of Oblong, IL Laura Marguerite McWhirter of Spring, TX, a brother: Dial Duane Ryder of Irving, TX, 2 sisters: Iseaphene Sade Kutz of Socorro, NM, Velma Kay Douglas of Kileen, TX, and 15 grandchildren. A son: Michael Monroe Beanblossom and 4 sisters are deceased.The funeral will be Tuesday at 10:00am at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, IL. Visitation is Monday from 5:00 to 7:00pm.Memorial donations may be given to the United Methodist Village or to Good Sararitan Hospice.
