Lynda S. Tucker

Lynda S. Tucker, 60, of Bridgeport, IL passed away Sunday September 12, 2010 at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. She was born March 6, 1950 in Knox County, IN the daughter of Harold Eugene and Norma Jean Jeanne (Mann) Tucker. Lynda worked as Deputy County Clerk for eight years. . She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Bridgeport where she was very active. She was an avid Red Hill Saluki Sports fan. She was very proud of her nieces and nephews. She considered them her kids.She is survived by her father: Harold Eugene Tucker of Bridgeport, IL, a brother: Harold Lee and his wife Mary Lou Tucker of Bridgeport, IL, Cynda Lou and her husband Jim Allen of Bridgeport, IL, Gerri Kay and her husband Bruce Purcell of Bridgeport, IL, seven nieces and nephews and 15 great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be 11:00am Thursday at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Bridgeport, IL with burial to follow at the Bridgeport City Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be given to the Shiloh Baptist Church.
